In our feature this month, we ask members of the community to answer two questions:

1. What one goal would you like to see our island leaders achieve in the upcoming year?

2. What specific actions can these leaders take to achieve that goal?

Vision for Guahan in 2008 is a result of their responses. Most everyone has one societal issue about which they have strong feelings or opinions. For me, it is providing our children with a quality educational system. Second on my list is a healthy economy, but even that component points back to having good public schools. Someone needs to take a long, HARD look at the Guam Public School System and come up with solutions that can be implemented and that will work.
