The Wedding of the Century

Guam resident and independent filmmaker David Macaluso is completing the final stages of his feature film comedy titled, "The Wedding Of The Century".  This film was shot on location in Manila, and uses Malate Church as the backdrop of this story.  "The Wedding Of The Century" is about a young couple, Brandy and Robert, who prepare for their big wedding day. Brandy wants her wedding to be perfect, but her absent minded fiance has atendency to unravel some of her plans.

Macaluso created 29 characters, each one quirky and a little odd,  from the gay wedding singer who is obsessed on being a Las Vegas performer, a crazy Deacon who attempts to take over the church the day of the wedding. A best man who swallows gold fish and Brandy's angry grandfather who dislikes Robert. This film even has a tricycle chase scene.

After reviewing the finished film, Macaluso decided to add a scene he had cut from the original screenplay. He says he would like to add the scene back to the story and wants to shoot it on Guam within the next month. He will have a casting call for 4 young actors between the age of 5 - 7. He is looking for a girl who will playyoung Brandy and three boys to play Robert and his 2 friends. Macaluso will also be looking for extras in the same age range.
